The Mule Canyon Interpretive Site is a roadside Ancestral Puebloan complex on State Route 95 west of Blanding in Bears Ears country. BLM provides paved parking, interpretive signs, and a visible structure complex including a kiva. It is distinct from the permit-required canyon hikes to House on Fire farther north on CR 263.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
