West of Blanding in Comb Ridge country, Butler Wash Interpretive Trail is a roughly one-mile round trip. The path ends at a viewpoint across the wash to cliff dwellings in alcoves, with BLM interpretation at the trailhead. It is an easy-to-moderate walk on uneven slickrock and dirt.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
