Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.
Montezuma Canyon runs on San Juan County roads between Monticello and Blanding country. Along County Road B146, the BLM maintains Three Kiva Pueblo as an interpretive Ancestral Puebloan site with a restored kiva open to visitors. The canyon corridor holds additional ruins visible from public roads; the developed stop is the agency-interpreted pueblo rather than every cliff dwelling.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
