Mojave Narrows Regional Park

San Bernardino County, CA

Coordinate verified

County regional park where the Mojave River is forced to the surface through a bedrock constriction north of Victorville, creating perennial lakes, cottonwood–willow riparian forest, and open water in the high desert. One of the best inland-empire birding sites in San Bernardino County (migratory waterfowl, herons, raptors, desert and riparian songbirds) with fishing, trails, and formal wildlife viewing. Distinct from Big Morongo Canyon Preserve and Baldwin Lake Ecological Reserve.
