Widely called New Jack City, Sawtooth Canyon Campground sits in desert granite country about twenty miles south of Barstow west of Highway 247. The Bureau of Land Management campground serves a dense sport-climbing area on rock fins and faces above the wash. Sites are primitive desert camps with vault facilities; the surrounding public land is open for day use and climbing.
