Concrete pillars and foundations of the Mason Valley Mines Company copper smelter (opened 1912) that processed Yerington-district ore beside the Nevada Copper Belt Railroad. Locally nicknamed Nevada’s “Stonehenge,” the skeletal stacks still watch Mason Valley north of Yerington near Wabuska.
