East of Parker and north of Bouse in western Arizona, Swansea Wilderness is desert mountain country. Graded gravel roads from Parker or Bouse reach the general area; high clearance is recommended for the last miles. The nearby Swansea historic townsite is a separate mining ruin destination outside or at the edge of wilderness use patterns.
