Young basaltic cinder cone and lava field in the Mojave Trails National Monument corridor just south of I-40/Route 66. Flows, cinder slopes, and lava-tube features make a quick geology stop; the cone itself has been partly quarried, so visit the public-land flow and viewpoint rather than mine workings.
