North Mesquite Mountains Wilderness covers low desert mountains and washes in the eastern Mojave near the California–Nevada line north of I-15. The Bureau of Land Management manages the unit for primitive recreation; there are no developed facilities. Access is typically from Cima Road / Nipton Road corridor roads north of Interstate 15.
