Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.

Giant Rock is a freestanding quartz monzonite boulder in the Mojave Desert near Landers, covering thousands of square feet of ground. In the 1930s Frank Critzer excavated living space under the rock. Later George Van Tassel ran a small airport here, held UFO gatherings, and built the nearby Integratron. A large slab calved from the rock in 2000. The site sits on BLM-managed public land used for dispersed camping.
