Fan-palm oasis in a rocky canyon on the northern edge of Joshua Tree National Park, reached by a ~3-mile round-trip trail over a barrel-cactus ridge from a dedicated trailhead off Highway 62. One of the park's classic desert oases, separate from the main park road network near Twentynine Palms.
