The Bagby stationhouse, water tanks, and turntable served the Yosemite Valley Railroad before Lake McClure inundated the original Bagby townsite. In 1966 the structures were moved to the historic railhead at El Portal. They form a compact railroad district that records the pre-automobile approach to Yosemite.
