National Register historic mine in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, reached by a maintained 4.4-mile round-trip hike from Twin Peaks Campground. Cipriano Ortega worked it as La Americana in the 1880s; Mikul Levy later renamed it La Victoria. Visitors see the stone store ruin, tailings, and fenced shafts—NPS closed the workings and mining ended when the monument became wilderness in 1976.
