Easy 1.5-mile round-trip BLM hike in Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument to classic Entrada-and-Dakota sandstone pedestals (capped “toadstools”) along the Paria Rimrocks north of US-89 between Kanab and Big Water. Fragile balanced-rock hoodoos and open desert views of the Paria River valley; no fee, year-round, dog-friendly.
