Buckskin Gulch is a roughly 16-mile sandstone slot in the Paria Canyon–Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness. The trailhead off House Rock Valley Road is one of the main day-hike and through-hike entries. Day-use and overnight permits are required. Flash floods are a defining hazard.
