1870s Weaver mining-district gold camp east of Congress / north of Wickenburg. Stage-stop and ranching town associated with the Rich Hill placers; a handful of restored original buildings (including the old hotel and store) survive on patented ground now managed as the Lost Dutchman’s Mining Association Stanton Camp, which allows public visits to the historic core.
