770-acre Sonoran Desert riparian oasis on a rare perennial reach of the Hassayampa River near Wickenburg. Cottonwood–willow gallery forest, Palm Lake, and mesquite bosque support ~280–300 bird species and abundant desert wildlife. Established by The Nature Conservancy (1987); day-use now partnered with Maricopa County Parks.
