South Needles Wilderness Study Area adjoins the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. BLM states there is no nearby road access; entry is by hike from Canyonlands or Butler Wash WSA via trailheads such as Salt Creek, House Park, or Bobby's Hole. It is a backcountry unit for experienced desert hikers.
