Silver-and-gold mining camp on the Big Sandy River in southern Mohave County, established about 1876 with a post office from 1877 to 1932. Peak population was near eight hundred, with mills and stores serving the McCracken district. Adobe ruins, mill remnants, and a cemetery sit on BLM land near Arrastra Mountain Wilderness on a long, sometimes flood-prone approach off U.S. 93.
