Saddle Mountain Wilderness covers roughly 41,000 acres of scarps, drainages, and mixed forest on the Kaibab National Forest north and east of Grand Canyon National Park. Elevations run from about 6,000 to over 8,000 feet. Named trails enter from forest roads along the plateau rim.
