Boyd Station (also called Butte or Half-way House) is a Pony Express station site on the desert route west of Fish Springs. Stone ruins with defensive architectural features remain on BLM land along the Pony Express Trail corridor. Long gravel and dirt roads reach it through western Utah’s remote basin-and-range country.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
