Isolated volcanic cone rising above the Rawhide Hills / Koegel Hills north of Walker Lake country—a landmark cinder-and-boulder summit on the Pilot Cone 7.5′ quad. Public BLM desert approaches allow a cross-country scramble to the cone for views of Tertiary volcanic terrain and the surrounding playa-and-range basin. Not a developed trailhead; treat as a remote geology walk.
