Coronado National Forest recreation lake (~50 acres) in Peña Blanca Canyon, foothills of the Atascosa and Pajarito Mountains west of I-19 near Nogales. Named for white volcanic-tuff cliffs; oak-grass hills, boat ramp, fishing piers, shoreline trail, and four picnic areas. Strong birding (waterfowl, egrets, migrants) and a southern-border sky-island natural stop.
