Coronado National Forest trail west of Peña Blanca Lake climbing ~2.5 miles to the former Atascosa Peak fire lookout site (lookout lost in the 2011 Murphey Complex Fire). Steep switchbacks open to 360° borderland views—Sycamore Canyon spires, Baboquivari, Santa Ritas, and far Mexican ranges—on a short, high-reward sky-island hike.
