Three volcanic cinder cones rise about 1,500 feet above the Chihuahuan Desert floor in Doña Ana County. There are no maintained trails to the summits; hikers cross desert grassland and shrub to reach 360-degree views from the rims. Access is via NM 9 and county roads west of the Texas line.
