Chain of young rhyolite and obsidian lava domes and craters south of Mono Lake in Inyo National Forest—one of the most recently active volcanic fields in the contiguous U.S. Forms a north–south spine of glassy domes and pumice fields between US-395 and the eastern Sierra, distinct from nearby Panum Crater at the chain’s north end.
