Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.
Eighteen-point-nine-mile BLM scenic backway through the Beaver Dam Mountains in Utah's far southwest corner, designated in 1990. The dirt route via Bulldog Pass and Bulldog Canyon links Old Highway 91 to Joshua-tree pockets, the Woodbury Desert Study Area, and Beaver Dam Wash National Conservation Area. High clearance is often required after storms, and there are no services on the road.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
