Roughly 7,400 acres of wilderness cover a flat-topped mesa in the northwestern Prescott National Forest northwest of Prescott. Elevations run from about 5,600 to 7,000 feet through pinyon-juniper and oak woodland. Seven maintained trails, including Oaks and Willows and approaches from George Wood Canyon, give foot and horse access; high-clearance roads reach the trailheads.
