Prescott National Forest day-use recreation area under ponderosa pine at the base of Prescott’s signature 6,514-ft butte—picnic ramadas, potable water, and trailheads for the short steep Thumb Butte Trail #33 loop plus a network of multi-use paths. Iconic Bradshaw Mountains landmark and one of the forest’s busiest family destinations just west of downtown Prescott.
