Roadside remnant of the long-running Johnson Canyon western film ranch outside Kanab, used for outdoor sequences of Gunsmoke and other Hollywood westerns. Dilapidated set buildings stand on private land along the public Johnson Canyon Road; Visit Utah and county tourism promote viewing from the road only. Fills the thin Kane historic cell beyond Dance Hall Rock (Hole-in-the-Rock corridor).
