Gold Hill sits on the Comstock Lode just south of Virginia City, a streetscape of historic homes, mine works, and highway traffic through a still-lived-in mining town. Walks reveal headframes, stone walls, and interpretive markers from the 1859 boom onward. Paved SR-342 access; park legally and stay out of closed mine property.
