Cisco is a withered railroad and highway stop in Grand County’s open desert east of Moab. Once a water and crew point on the D&RGW and later a Route 6/50 service hamlet, it shrank after I-70 bypassed it. Visitors find boarded shacks, junked cars, and wide sky along the interstate frontage—photograph from public right-of-way only.
