Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.

Chinese Camp started as a Gold Rush camp and became a hub for Chinese mining companies and stage lines in the early 1850s. The 1854 stone and brick post office, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (1855), and other masonry ruins line Main Street near State Highway 120. California Historical Landmark No. 423 and a separate Wells Fargo building landmark document the site.
