Burr Point Overlook is the cliff-top end of a dirt road east of State Route 95 south of Hanksville, looking into the Dirty Devil River gorge toward the Henrys, Abajos, and La Sals. The overlook itself is a roadside viewpoint with no facilities; a cairned descent toward the river is technical and exposed. The site is also used as a primitive trailhead into the canyon.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
