Boca Dam is an earthfill structure completed in 1939 on the Little Truckee River as part of the Truckee Storage Project. It creates Boca Reservoir for irrigation, flood control, and recreation. The dam and reservoir sit a short drive from Truckee, with Forest Service campgrounds and boat access on public land.
