High alpine meadow complex on the Mount Rose Highway (NV-431) just east of the Mount Rose Summit pass, within Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest / Lake Tahoe Basin approaches. Boardwalk and easy trails cross wildflower meadows and wet seeps with views toward Slide Mountain and the Carson Range; a popular accessible nature stop and snowshoe/XC ski area in winter between Reno and Lake Tahoe.
