AZGFD-managed ~198-acre riparian and wetland tract on the north bank of the Gila River at its confluence with the Salt River west of Phoenix. Cottonwood–willow and associated wetlands support waterfowl, wading birds, and sensitive species including Yuma ridgway’s rail and western yellow-billed cuckoo — a key Lower Salt–Gila birding stop.
