A high alpine lake at about 8,350 feet in the East Humboldt Range, reached by a paved spur from Wells. Glacial cirques, Forest Service camping and picnic areas, and trailheads into the East Humboldts Wilderness make it a classic northeastern Nevada alpine basecamp.
