NPS monument protecting multi-story Sinagua/Ancestral Pueblo masonry pueblos (Wupatki Pueblo 100+ rooms, Wukoki, Citadel) on volcanic ash-enriched desert grassland north of Flagstaff. Settled after the Sunset Crater eruption; includes the northernmost known Mesoamerican-style ballcourt and a natural blowhole. Linked with Sunset Crater as an International Dark Sky Park unit.
