Young phreatomagmatic tuff cone and basalt ridge north of Fallon in the Lahontan Valley, part of the same late Quaternary volcanic family as Soda Lakes. Geologists cite it as a <25 ka maar/tuff-cone complex built where magma met groundwater — a low, dark volcanic landform rising from the ancient lake basin floor.
