Approximate location — plotted from published sources, not a site visit, and not a guarantee of access.
A signed trailhead south of the Aravaipa Canyon corridor west of Klondyke starts the Turkey Creek Cliff Dwelling Trail. A short path leads to cliff dwellings with a BLM trail register and interpretive signing. Access is via long dirt roads off the Aravaipa-Klondyke Road; high-clearance vehicles are recommended. Day use is managed by the Safford Field Office; nearby Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness itself requires a separate limited permit.
Cultural sites and artifacts are protected by federal law (ARPA/NHPA) — stay on established routes, touch and remove nothing, and follow the managing agency's and the affiliated tribe's guidance on access.
