BLM Coachella Valley Preserve oasis of native California fan palms along the San Andreas Fault zone north of the Coachella Valley. A mile-long trail system winds past palm-lined pools that support endangered desert pupfish and a rich bird/migratory corridor—one of the largest native fan-palm oases in the California desert and a flagship low-desert wildlife stop.
