About 200 acres around Tassi Springs under the Grand Wash Cliffs hold Tassi Ranch, inside Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument. Ed Yates built the extant stone house, barn, corrals, and irrigation works in the 1930s–40s around a multi-spring oasis used since precontact times. The historic house is unstable and closed; a vault toilet sits on the bluff above the wash.
