A long red-rock canyon system on the Coconino and Prescott National Forests southwest of Flagstaff and northwest of Sedona makes up Sycamore Canyon Wilderness. Perennial pools, cottonwoods, and sandstone walls line trails such as Parsons and Sycamore Rim. The wilderness is roadless; entry is from forest trailheads around the rim and lower canyon.
