Railroad and quarry ghost town in Stein’s Pass of the Peloncillo Mountains, Hidalgo County. Founded in 1880 on the Southern Pacific, it thrived on ballast rock while water arrived by train; abandonment followed when the railroad stopped subsidizing water in 1944.
