National Park Service monument protecting a “wonderland of rocks” — tall rhyolite hoodoos and balanced rocks carved from 27-million-year-old Turkey Creek Caldera ash-flow tuff. Massai Point at the end of Bonita Canyon Drive is the classic visitor overlook for the pinnacles, with short paved paths and trailheads into Echo Canyon and the Heart of Rocks.
