Remote reed-fringed oasis in the far southern arm of Death Valley National Park. Spring-fed pools and wetlands support Saratoga Springs pupfish (endemic), migratory birds, and desert mammals in an otherwise barren valley — one of the park's richest wildlife concentrations away from the Furnace Creek corridor.
