The Rio Chama Wilderness Study Area follows rugged canyon country along the Rio Chama in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. Dirt roads from Highway 84 near Cebolla form part of the WSA boundary, and multi-day raft trips on the Rio Chama pass the same canyon walls under BLM and USFS management. The corridor is part of a larger wild-and-scenic river recreation system north of Abiquiu Reservoir.
