Potosi Camp on the flanks of Mount Potosi is among southern Nevada’s earliest lode sites, worked for lead in the 1850s before later silver and zinc eras. Scattered foundations and mine works remain on steep mountain ground. Rough canyon roads demand high clearance; open shafts and ARPA rules mean look, don’t enter or collect.
