Ice Box Canyon is a short, shaded wash hike inside Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area west of Las Vegas. Cooler air and occasional winter seeps contrast with the open desert; a rocky path follows the drainage into walls of sandstone and limestone. Access is from the Scenic Loop Drive trailhead—timed-entry rules apply seasonally.
